Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Power BI Developer cum Data Engineer in Pune. The role focuses on building advanced Power BI dashboards, data models, and ETL pipelines within a modern Bronze–Silver–Gold architecture.

You will work with Python, Fabric, Azure data services, and BI AI features to deliver end-to-end data solutions and actionable insights for business stakeholders. The position is on-site in Pune with growth into Fabric/data engineering.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Power BI development experience.
• Strong Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and Data Modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop advanced DAX measures, KPIs, calculations, and data models.
• Use Power Query (M) for data extraction, transformation, and cleansing.
• Implement RLS, incremental refresh, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Work with business users to understand requirements and define KPIs.
• Apply data visualization and storytelling best practices.
• Use Power BI AI features such as Key Influencers, Q&A, Anomaly Detection, and Copilot.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Notebooks, and Semantic Models.
• Develop Python scripts using Pandas for data processing and automation.
• Integrate data from databases, files, APIs, and external systems.

We are looking for a Power BI Developer cum Data Engineer with strong experience in Power BI, DAX, SQL, Data Modeling, and Power Query, along with working knowledge of Python and Microsoft Fabric.

The candidate should understand modern data engineering, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and Bronze–Silver–Gold architecture. Exposure to Azure, Databricks/PySpark, Power Platform, Tableau, Artlyx, APIs, and AI capabilities will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop advanced DAX measures, KPIs, calculations, and data models.

Microsoft Fabric & Data Engineering

• Work with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Notebooks, and Semantic Models.
• Support Bronze–Silver–Gold / Medallion Architecture.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Factory / Azure Data Factory.
• Work with basic Databricks and PySpark for data transformation.
• Handle structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Support data quality, validation, pipeline monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Python & Integration

• Develop Python scripts using Pandas for data processing and automation.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON, file processing, and basic API ingestion.
• Integrate data from databases, files, APIs, and external systems.

Power Platform

• Build or support Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
• Automate business processes, notifications, approvals, and reporting workflows.
• Exposure to AI Builder / Copilot Studio is an advantage.
• Exposure to Tableau, Artlyx, Qlik, or other visualization tools.
• Ability to evaluate and select appropriate visualization approaches based on business requirements.

• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable BI and data solutions.

Preferred Certifications

• DP-600 / DP-700 / DP-750 / DP-800 / DP-900 or equivalent.
