Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) is seeking a senior BI professional to design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards across multiple client projects. You will build scalable analytics solutions, model data for BI, and ensure robust security and governance.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and PowerApps, and are comfortable working across Bengaluru, Pune, and Gurgaon locations in India.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, and PowerApps.
• Experience in BI engineering projects and data warehouse standards.
• Strong knowledge of DAX for advanced calculations.
• Experience with SSAS, SSRS, SSIS and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
• Build and optimize Analysis Services reporting models for data warehouses.
• Connect to diverse data sources and implement advanced calculations using DAX.
• Architect scalable analytics solutions from wireframes and requirements.

JobType: full-time

Experience Range: 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, and PowerApps, including practical exposure to BI engineering projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Build and optimize Analysis Services reporting models, ensuring compatibility with data warehouse standards and supporting both tabular and multidimensional models
• Connect to diverse data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence, and implement advanced calculations using DAX to enhance reporting accuracy
• Architect reporting solutions based on client requirements, translating wireframes and requirement documents into scalable analytics solutions
• Implement and manage row-level security, integrating analytics with data governance, quality, and security platforms to ensure compliance and data protection
• Optimize dashboard and query performance to efficiently handle large and multiple datasets, ensuring timely delivery of analytics outputs
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design impactful visualizations, leveraging Power BI product capabilities for enhanced user experience
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges, deliver tailored analytics solutions, and ensure high-quality client outputs
