Job Description

Power BI Architects are experts in data modeling and analysis. They develop high-quality datasets and visually stunning reports, designing and developing data models that support business requirements and ensuring accuracy and reliability of the data presented in dashboards and reports.

Requirements

• 8+ years of full‑time experience with Power BI Desktop, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power View.
• Proficient in writing SQL for database querying and DAX for custom calculations.
• Good knowledge of M and VertiPaq Analyzer.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and ability to create effective models for reporting.
• Experience performing ETL processes to prepare clean, accurate datasets for analysis.
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and bridge technical and non‑technical perspectives.
• Strong ability to propose solutions quickly by referencing best practices from the MVP & Product Team, Microsoft documentation, white papers, and community publications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.
• Familiarity with Azure data platform components such as ADLS, SQL Server, ADF, Databricks.

Technical Skills We Prefer

• Power BI Desktop, Power BI Dataflows, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, VertiPaq Analyzer.
• T‑SQL, DAX, M, PowerShell.
• Power BI Service architecture design and administration.
• Understanding of business requirements, data model design, and development of visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• VertiPaq and MashUp engine knowledge.
• Data modeling using the Kimball methodology.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Educational qualification: BE/MCA/any graduation.
