Job summary

Supra ITS is hiring an L2 Cybersecurity Resident Engineer in India to manage real-time alert triage and incident investigations. This role requires strong expertise in incident response and hands-on experience with EDR and SIEM tools.

The selected candidate will be responsible for owning security incidents from initial triage to resolution while ensuring high-quality detection and response. Firm understanding of compliance standards like ISO/IEC 27001 is also preferred, along with a degree in IT or related fields.

Qualifications

3-5 years SOC / cybersecurity operations (L2)
Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon and Sentinel One
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework

Role Overview

The L2 Cybersecurity Resident Engineer acts as a dedicated on‑site security resource, owning real‑time alert triage, incident investigation, escalation handling, and detection improvement across client environments. This is a hands‑on, ownership‑driven role requiring minimal supervision.

The role will work under a 24*7 Rotational Shift.

YOU ARE!

You are an experienced SOC L2 cybersecurity professional with strong hands‑on expertise in client‑facing security operations.
You have solid experience in incident response, threat detection, alert investigation, and SOC operations using EDR, SIEM, and related security tools.
You are capable of independently owning security incidents end‑to‑end, from initial triage and investigation to containment, resolution, documentation, or escalation where required.
You bring a high sense of ownership, sound analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced SOC environment.
You are proactive in improving detection quality, response effectiveness, and the overall security posture of client environments.
