Job summary

Supra ITS – Atomic North India is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure with emphasis on routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and security. You will ensure high availability and performance across global client environments from our Jammu on-site location.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise with Cisco/FortiGate/Palo Alto and related security tools, plus strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills for

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise and data center network infrastructure. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in switching, routing, firewall management, VPN technologies, load balancing, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills for international clients.

You Are

Responsible for operation, maintenance, and support of enterprise network infrastructure. Ensure stable, secure, and high-performing network connectivity across business systems through monitoring and troubleshooting.

Experience in:

• Configuring firewalls, routers, switches, and VPN solutions
• Ensuring secure and reliable network connectivity across environments
• Supporting load balancers and network security tools
• Working with VLANs, MPLS, and QoS configurations
• Monitoring network performance and resolving issues
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer support skills

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of enterprise network infrastructure (switching, routing, and connectivity)
• Configuration and support of firewalls, VPNs, and network security systems
• Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of critical network services
• Management of load balancers, MPLS, VLANs, and hybrid cloud connectivity
• Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution in datacenter environments

Technical Experience

Enterprise Network Infrastructure

• Extensive experience with Cisco and HP switches and routers
• Hands-on with switching, routing protocols, and console/serial-based troubleshooting

Security & Firewall Management

• Worked on Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper SRX/SSG firewalls
• Firewall configuration, policy management, hardening, and secure access control

VPN & Remote Connectivity

• Configured and supported IPsec site-to-site VPNs for secure enterprise connectivity
• Experience with Cisco AnyConnect for remote user access
• Administered F5 BIG-IP load balancers for traffic distribution and high availability
• Ensured application uptime through load balancing and failover configurations

Network Design & Performance Optimization

• Strong knowledge of MPLS, VLANs, PVLANs, and QoS for VoIP traffic
• Focus on network segmentation, optimization, and performance tuning

Cloud & Hybrid Networking

• Experience with Azure cloud networking
• Integrated on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments for hybrid connectivity

Operations, Monitoring & Support

• Managed network monitoring tools and incident troubleshooting
• Provided datacenter support, infrastructure maintenance, and escalation handling

Qualifications

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) preferred
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification is a plus
• Additional certifications in networking or security technologies are advantageous
