RoleOverview:
Thisrole makes sure companies in our accelerator program get real, lasting valuefrom the support they receive. Each company is paired with a Venture Partner(VP), a dedicated advisor who works with them for 12–15 months, guiding themthrough their growth journey. This role owns that relationship: making sure VPcalls happen on schedule, cover the right ground, and, most importantly,actually lead to change inside the company.
Italso plays an active part in Sprint, a focused 90-day period of hands-onsupport that companies go through early in the program, not just trackingwhether it's on schedule, but assessing whether it's genuinely deliveringvalue, and stepping in when it isn't.
KeyResponsibilities:
Managethe Venture Partner Relationship
- Make sure every companyhas an active, engaged VP throughout their 12–15 month journey with us.
- Track that a newcompany's first two calls with their VP happen on time and result in a clearplan for what the company needs to work on.
- Review that plan forquality, and confirm the company is on board with it.
TrackCalls & Follow-Through
- Make sure VPs check inwith companies at the mid-point and end of each work cycle, and that thesecalls are properly documented.
- Ensure regular check-incalls are happening in between.
- Check whether companiesare actually acting on what the VP recommends, this is the real measure ofwhether the relationship is working.
ManageFeedback
- Regularly ask companieshow their VP relationship is going.
- If something isn'tworking, raise it with the VP directly and help course correct.
- Be the first point ofcontact if a company or VP needs something to change.
- Keep an eye on whether acompany's first support sprint is on track and finishing on time.
- Go beyond paperwork:assess whether the sprint is genuinely helping the company make progress, notjust hitting scheduled milestones.
- Flag quality issues or asprint that's off-track to the assigned expert or the Head of PortfolioSuccess, and help course correct.
- Make sure basic sprintpaperwork, like the kickoff document, is completed.
- Feed sprint details,like hiring numbers or funding raised, into shared reports.
KeepRecords & Reporting
- Maintain simple,accurate dashboards tracking VP calls and sprint status for every company.
- Flag any issues orbottlenecks to the Head of Portfolio Success.
KeyOutcomes:
- Onboarding calls withnew companies completed, with a plan the company agrees to.
- Mid-point and closingcalls completed and documented, every cycle.
- Regular check-in callshappening and tracked.
- Companies acting on whattheir VP recommends.
- Feedback collected andrelationship issues resolved.
- Sprint paperwork andtimelines on track.
- Sprint quality and valueassessed, with issues flagged and addressed.
- Company data, hiring,funding, next steps, accurate and up to date.
Qualifications& Experience:
- 5–8 years in programmanagement, client success, or relationship management; startup, impact, ordevelopment sector experience preferred.
- Comfortable managinglong, ongoing relationships (12+ months), not just short projects.
- Experience working withexternal advisors, consultants, or mentors.
- Good at judging whethera conversation or piece of delivery work is actually landing, and coachingpeople to improve it.
- Comfortable withdashboards and tracking tools.
- Strong communicator,equally comfortable with founders and senior advisors.
- Organized,detail-oriented, and comfortable with a role that will evolve as the teamgrows.
