Overview

Work location: Pune (Remote) / Hyderabad (Work from office in Hybrid mode) / Bangalore (Work from office in Hybrid mode)

Shift timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (IST)

Jade Business Services (JBS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PMO Lead to establish and operate a lean, business-aligned Project Management Office (PMO). This role will play a critical part in bringing structure, visibility, and governance across our rapidly growing portfolio of data, AI, and digital delivery projects.

This is a hands-on role – ideal for someone who has previously helped set up or run a PMO and is ready to do it again in a high-growth, agile organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize a Light PMO that enables repeatable, efficient project execution
• Track and report on:
• Financials (burn vs. budget, project margin trends)
• Commercial milestones (payment triggers, SOW compliance)
• Staffing (resource allocations, forecasted needs)
• Develop and maintain tools and templates (dashboards, RAID logs, milestone trackers)
• Collaborate with delivery managers, architects, and account teams to ensure accountability and visibility
• Standardize governance rituals (weekly check-ins, risk reviews, stakeholder reporting)
• Support resource planning and capacity boards
• Escalate delivery risks and gaps to COO and Delivery Heads
• Conduct training for other PMs
• Create and present customer projects dashboards with KPIs to internal and external executives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of total experience, with at least 1 successful PMO setup or operations experience
• Strong understanding of delivery operations across T&M and fixed-price models
• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Planner, Excel, Azure DevOps, or Jira (must)
• Experience in tracking project financials and staffing utilization
• Organized, process-driven, and proactive communicator
• Comfortable in high-change, entrepreneurial environments
• Experience in working with US clients
• Excellent written and verbal skills, combined with ability communicate effectively

Preferred / Good to have

• Experience in a technology services or consulting company
• Agile certification is a plus
• Ability to influence delivery teams without formal authority
