Job summary

Sapient (Publicis Sapient) is seeking a contract-focused Program & Portfolio Governance professional in India for an initial 6-month term with extension potential. The role requires leading governance structures, managing end-to-end delivery, and proactively mitigating risks within Agile or hybrid frameworks.

You will forecast budgets, plan resources, and translate complex concepts into clear executive dashboards and KPIs for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience defining program operating models and governance structures.
• Proven ability to manage projects from initiation to go-live in Agile or hybrid setups.
• Ability to identify risks, track issues, and resolve inter-team dependencies.
• Budget forecasting, capacity planning, and portfolio tracking experience.
• Proficient in translating technical concepts into executive dashboards and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Define program operating models, governance structures, decision rights, and executive reporting mechanisms.
• Manage projects end-to-end from initiation through release, go-live, and closure in Agile or hybrid environments.
• Proactively identify risks, log issues, resolve inter-team dependencies, and remove bottlenecks.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, capacity planning, and portfolio-level cost tracking.
• Prepare executive status updates and dashboards for senior leadership.

• Program & Portfolio Governance: Define program operating models, governance structures, decision rights, and executive reporting mechanisms.
• End-to-End Delivery: Manage projects and programs from initiation and scope definition through release, go-live, and closure within Agile or hybrid frameworks.
• Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify project risks, track issue logs, resolve inter-team dependencies, and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
• Financial & Resource Planning: Oversee project budgets, forecasting, capacity planning, cost-benefit analysis, and portfolio-level tracking.
• Stakeholder & Executive Communication: Translate complex technical or clinical concepts into executive dashboards, KPIs, and regular status updates for senior leadership.
