Job summary

Pakka Limited in Ayodhya is seeking a PM4 Rewinder Operator to operate and monitor the rewinder machine, ensuring safe, efficient and quality-oriented rewinding operations. You will produce customer-ready reels by maintaining machine performance and minimizing waste.

The role requires 4-6 years of experience in paper manufacturing and an ITI or Diploma qualification, with the ability to work in rotational shifts and meet production targets. Safety procedures and TPM/6S practices are essential.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in relevant field.
• 4–6 years of experience in paper manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with rewinder machines.
• Knowledge of TPM and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate PM4 rewinder machine per SOPs.
• Set parameters based on paper grade and reel size.
• Ensure finished reels meet quality and packaging standards.
• Monitor slitting, knife settings and width for defects.
• Maintain web tension and reel hardness to prevent issues.
• Report abnormalities to Shift Head and Maintenance.
• Support preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Record production data and ensure shift documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production and Maintenance teams for smooth dispatch.

Aboutthe Role

We areseeking a dedicated PM4 Rewinder Operator to operate and monitor therewinder machine, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-focused rewindingoperations. The role involves producing customer-ready reels by maintainingmachine performance, minimizing waste, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

KeyResponsibilities

• Operate the PM4 rewindermachine as per standard operating procedures.
  
• Set and adjust rewinderparameters based on paper grade, reel size, and customer specifications.
  
• Ensure finished reels meetquality standards for winding, width, appearance, and packaging.
  
• Monitor slitting operations,knife settings, and width accuracy to minimize defects.
  
• Maintain proper web tensionand reel hardness to prevent wrinkles, web breaks, and winding defects.
  
• Continuously monitor machineperformance and report any abnormalities to the Shift Head or Maintenanceteam.
  
• Perform routine machineinspections and support preventive maintenance activities.
  
• Minimize broke generation,reel defects, and material losses during operations.
  
• Ensure accurate productionrecords and shift documentation.
  
• Follow all safety procedures,LOTO, TPM, 6S, and housekeeping standards.
  
• Coordinate with Quality,Production, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and timelydispatch.
