Job summary

Magnasoft is seeking a PLS-CADD Engineer Mid-Level to join our Hassan, Karnataka team. You will design and model transmission lines using PLS-CADD, perform SAG & Tension checks, and ensure clearance and tower spotting accuracy.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience with PLS-CADD, LiDAR/terrain modelling, and Plan & Profile development. Willingness to relocate to Hassan is preferred; exposure to international utility standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in PLS-CADD-based T&D line design and modelling.
• Strong hands-on experience with PLS-CADD, SAG & Tension, and clearance checks.
• Experience with LiDAR/terrain modelling and Plan & Profile drawings.
• Knowledge of international utility standards is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with technical teams and ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain transmission line models using PLS-CADD.
• Perform SAG & Tension analysis for conductors.
• Carry out conductor, ground and structure clearance checks.
• Perform structure/tower spotting based on engineering requirements.
• Work with LiDAR data and terrain models.
• Prepare and review Plan & Profile drawings.
• Analyze transmission line routes and identify design issues.
• Perform quality checks on engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve project-related issues.

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled PLS-CADD Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) line design and modelling. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in PLS-CADD, SAG & Tension, conductor clearance, structure spotting, LiDAR/terrain modelling, and Plan & Profile preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain transmission line models using PLS-CADD.
