Job summary

InOpTra Digital is seeking a professional with 15-20 years of experience in the electric utilities sector, specializing in designing overhead transmission lines. The successful candidate will have expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software, along with foundation design experience using MFAD and/or L-Pile software.

This role requires strong knowledge of industry codes and effective communication skills. The candidate should be able to conduct detailed drilled pier foundation designs and work well both individually and in teams.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of experience in electric utilities, focusing on overhead transmission lines.
• Proficient in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software, with additional experience in CAISSON and PLS-TOWER preferred.
• Strong foundation design experience utilizing MFAD and/or L-Pile software.

Responsibilities

• Design overhead transmission lines, preferably for voltages of at least 345 kV.
• Design guy anchors, tubular steel poles, and lattice towers.
• Conduct detailed drilled pier foundation and soil anchor designs.

Software: PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE (mandatory)

Optional Software: CAISSON and PLS-TOWER

Education: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering

• Requirement Designing overhead transmission lines, preferably to voltages of at least 345 kV.
• PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE Software Experience is mandatory. (CAISSON and PLS-TOWER are optional.)
• Foundation Design Experience utilizing MFAD and/or L-Pile software.
• Guy anchor design, Tubular steel pole and lattice tower design experience.
• "Detailed drilled pier foundation design, soil anchor design utilizing helical piles and or grouted anchors."
• Good knowledge about industry codes and recommendations such as NESC, RUS Bulletin 1724E-200, CA-PUC GO95, and ACSE 10, 48, 74, 91, 104, 123 and 141.
• Additional Effective verbal and written communication skills, Working with American codes and standards
• Excellent level of interpersonal skills
• Ability to work individually and on a team
