Job summary

Rockwell Automation in India seeks a Solution Architect Manager for Enterprise Technology. Based in Pune/Bangalore with hybrid work, you will lead day-to-day management of multiple projects, ensuring deliverables meet the client’s business needs and priorities.

You will report to the Manager, Software Engineering and collaborate with clients to design effective solutions. You will guide architecture, oversee development teams, and mentor a high-performing group while traveling up to 25%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, MCA, or Computer Science.
• 14+ years in PLM software solutions (Windchill, FlexPLM or ThingWorx).
• 8+ years in Business Process Consulting, architecture/design of processes.
• Experience leading implementation, validation and deployment of scalable PLM solutions in a client-facing setting.
• General knowledge of Agile and SDLC practices and technical documentation.
• Previous consulting experience required.
• Willingness to travel international and domestic up to 25%.

Job Description

Rockwell is seeking exceptional candidates who are looking for an exciting career as a Solution Architect Manager for Enterprise Technology. As a Solution Architect Manager, you will take high-level responsibility for the day-to-day management of multiple projects, ensuring the quality of work produced meets the client's business needs and priorities. The work is demanding and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. Our focus is helping clients extract value from software solutions, not just on making the technology work. The company will base you in Pune/Bangalore, India and you will work in hybrid. You will report to the Manager, Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Achieve a balance between meeting client obligations, supporting their needs, and acting as an ambassador for the firm.
• Developing business solutions, working with business process owners, department heads, functional groups, I.T and others in the client ecosystem.
• Face-to-face interaction with clients to design solutions that address application gaps or facilitate system interaction between commercial solutions and the client's existing applications.
• Engages in regular conversations with project sponsors on their digital thread journey and opportunities for growth.
• Designing the technical architecture for the solutions in a manner that allows ease of use and quick adoption by users in all the involved business groups for a diverse set of clients in the various industries.
• Developing, and providing oversight to the development team related to the solution design, testing and deployment of the software solutions.
• Provides leadership in the development and sharing of complex, market-valued intellectual capital.
• Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client and align the solution with final terms and conditions.
• Gain and sustain executive relationships as a trusted business advisor.
• Collaborate with clients, peers, and managers.
• Proven ability to establish and meet milestones and deadlines.
• As a people manager, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team aligning talent development with organisational objectives.

Requirements

• You will have bachelor's or Bachelor's degree and master's degree in engineering, MCA (Master of Computer Applications), or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
• Strong knowledge of PLM software solution capabilities, such as Windchill, Agile 9, NGC, Centric, etc.
• 14+ years relevant experience in PLM software solutions: Windchill, FlexPLM or ThingWorx.
• 8+ years minimum experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.
• Experience leading the implementation, validation, and deployment of scalable, commercial PLM solutions in a client-facing setting.
• Business critical software development and rollout in organisations.
• General knowledge of Agile and SDLC software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plan).
• Previous consulting experience required.
• Tailor complex messages into simplified and business applicable material for key stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel international and domestic up to 25%.
