Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Project Engineer for Services to join a dynamic engineering team based in Pune/Noida. You will collaborate with global project managers, deliver automation projects across multiple industries, visit customer sites to troubleshoot and commission systems, and mentor junior engineers.

You will report to the Manager/TL. The role demands travel (about 75%) and a focus on cost-effective, high-quality execution aligned with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Delivery: Responsible for cost-effective, high-quality project execution with customer satisfaction.
• Process & Industry Standards: Provide process domain expertise and solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with Project Managers and regional partners to ensure smooth project engineering services and execution.
• Project Oversight: Manage all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Team Development: Coach junior project engineers to enhance team capabilities and performance.
• Manage Multiple Projects: Manage and report multiple project deliveries with the complete process adherence, meeting or improving on budget, schedule and quality requirements with all the possible value additions.
• Scope & Risk Management: Collaborate with the PM and Team Leader on scope definition, risk management, and technical issue resolution.
• Standardisation and Cost Reduction: Promote reuse of standard engineering solutions and lead cost reduction through process improvements.
• Customer Engagement: Work with leadership to ensure, customer satisfaction, and repeat business.
• Site Travel & Troubleshooting: Willingness to travel to project sites to troubleshoot technical issues. 75 % travel would be there.
