Job summary

Productspace Solutions Inc. in Chennai seeks a hands-on Siemens Teamcenter PLM specialist to design and implement secure, scalable PLM solutions. You will drive architecture, security rules, and data models within Teamcenter and ensure seamless integration with NX CAD and AutoCAD.

Lead RapidAuthor-based publications, data conversion pipelines, and defense-compliant templates. You will also coordinate testing, UAT, and go-live, with training for engineering and IT staff.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on Siemens Teamcenter PLM deployment experience.
• Expertise in BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Organization, Access Manager, and Structure Manager.
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with NX CAD and AutoCAD.
• Indian citizenship required for secure government site clearance; background check.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client engineering and change management processes; design Teamcenter architecture.
• Define BMIDE data models, workflows, and security rules for Teamcenter.
• Install/configure Teamcenter including EBOMs, Access Manager, and ECR/ECO workflows.
• Integrate Teamcenter with NX CAD and AutoCAD; validate interfaces.
• Architect integration of Siemens RapidAuthor with Teamcenter for automated publications.
• Develop custom import/export configurations and document templates to meet defense standards.
• Design automated data conversion pipelines using Rapid Data Converter for NX/AutoCAD to JT/XML.
• Set up publishing workflows for digital manuals and training materials.
• Lead testing (UAT) and support go-live; assist data migration of sensitive documents.
• Prepare training materials and deliver sessions for engineering and IT staff.

Job description

System Setup & Design: Analyze the client's existing engineering and change management processes.

Define the Teamcenter architecture, data models (BMIDE), workflows, and security rules.

Configuration & Customization: Install and configure Teamcenter, including Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOMs), Access Manager, and workflow processes (ECR/ECO). Perform approved low-code customizations.

System Integration: Configure and validate Teamcenter integrations for NX CAD and AutoCAD.

RapidAuthor Solution Design: Architect the integration of the Siemens RapidAuthor suite with Teamcenter to automate the creation of 3D/2D technical publications, interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs), and digital training materials directly from CAD data.

Schema & Template Development: Develop custom import/export configurations, styling sheets, and document templates within Rapid Developer and Rapid Compiler to match the client's strict defense documentation standards.

Data Conversion solution: Design and configure automated data conversion pipelines using Rapid Data Converter for Teamcenter to seamlessly translate complex NX and AutoCAD assemblies into lightweight, interactive JT and XML formats.

Interactive Content Publishing: Set up publishing workflows within Rapid Learning and Rapid Author Connector to distribute digital manuals, work instructions, and training courses that auto-update when engineering change orders (ECOs) are released.

Testing & Validation: Lead system testing and support the client through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), fixing bugs and security gaps before launch.

Data Migration & Go-Live: Assist with migrating and loading sensitive Transfer of Technology (ToT) technical documents into the live system.

Training Delivery: Create course materials and lead a training program (basic and advanced) for the client's engineering and IT staff.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience implementing and deploying Siemens Teamcenter PLM.

Expertise in BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Organization, Access Manager, and Structure Manager.

Strong experience integrating Teamcenter with NX CAD and AutoCAD.

Indian citizenship (required for secure government site clearance), medical fitness, and clean background check for police verification.

PreferredSkills (Highly Desirable):

• Exposure toconfiguring the RapidAuthor Common XML Schema and customizing XML/HTML-basedinteractive publications will be added advantage.
• Understandingof creating interactive 3D animations and parts catalogs linked directly toTeamcenter Bill of Materials (BOM) structures will be desirable.
