Job summary

Alten Group is seeking engineers with hands-on experience in 3DX, Teamcenter and Vis Mockup to support automotive development projects. The role focuses on pre-assembly checks, interface verification, and ensuring proper packaging, clearances and assembly feasibility across vehicle components.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, applying Excel-based reporting and issue-tracking tools to maintain data integrity and drive quality in system integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience using 3DX, Teamcenter, and Vis Mockup.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems and program structures in Teamcenter.
• Familiarity with automotive components, assemblies, and installation requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel, reporting, and issue-tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital pre-assembly checks to verify interfaces and alignment between parts using 3DX and TC Vis tools.
• Check component packaging, clearances, interference, accessibility, and assembly feasibility.
• Perform dynamic clearance and motion checks using 3DX and TC Vis tools.
• Review the integration of vehicle components and systems.

Job description
