Job summary

EinNel Technologies in Chennai seeks an LD-MP Engineer with 2–3 years in automotive product engineering to create, maintain and validate Locator and Measurement Point data using NX and Teamcenter.

You will review CAD models, MBOM structures, and dashboards, coordinate with engineering teams, and ensure on-time delivery with zero defects while applying global standards and BIW processes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in automotive product engineering, BIW, CAD modeling, or manufacturing engineering.
• Create, maintain and validate LD/MP for components using NX and Teamcenter.
• Review CAD models, surface data, engineering specifications, and markups to develop LD/MP data.
• Create and maintain MBOM structures, assembly flow diagrams, and Teamcenter data per global standards.
• Perform quality validation and monitor LD/MP dashboards.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to communicate status and resolve issues.
• Strong knowledge of NX, CATIA, Teamcenter/Active Workspace, Vis Mockup.
• MS Office proficiency; experience with FIDES is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

• 2–3 years of experience in Automotive Product Engineering, BIW, CAD Modeling, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Create, maintain, and validate Locators (LD) and Measurement Points (MP) for supplier and in-house components using NX and Teamcenter.
• Review CAD models, surface data, engineering specifications, and mark-ups to develop accurate LD/MP data and document engineering queries for resolution.
• Create and maintain MBOM structures, assembly flow diagrams, and Teamcenter data in accordance with global engineering standards and project requirements.
• Perform quality validation, monitor LD/MP quality dashboards, implement engineering feedback, and ensure on-time delivery with zero quality defects.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and stakeholders to communicate project status, resolve technical issues, and support project execution.
• Strong knowledge of NX/CATIA, Teamcenter/Active Workspace, Vis Mockup, BIW assembly processes, BIW fixtures, and measurement techniques.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with FIDES and automotive engineering workflows is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
