Job summary

Metalman Auto Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, program, and optimize PLC-based automation systems for manufacturing efficiency.

The role focuses on IoT connectivity between devices, PLCs, robots, and energy monitoring systems for real-time data collection and process optimization. You will integrate IoT solutions with factory infrastructure, implement industrial protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet, and EtherNet/IP, and enable seamless SCADA, MES and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, industrial automation and IoT solutions in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in programming and troubleshooting Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Schneider PLCs.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, etc.).
• Experience integrating SCADA, MES, and ERP systems.
• Hands-on experience in IoT-based automation, predictive maintenance and data analytics in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across IT, production and engineering teams.
