Job summary

GK HR Consulting India Private Limited is seeking an experienced Controls Programmer/Technical Lead PLC to design, develop, test, and commission PLC-based machine control systems. The role requires hands-on work with PLC, HMI, motion control, VFDs, and industrial networks, plus on-site FAT/SAT and commissioning.

You will lead development and troubleshooting, collaborate across teams, and ensure robust safety systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial controls programming.
• Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience in HMI development and operator interface design.
• Experience with machine automation, motion control, and safety systems.
• Industrial networking experience (Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• ETO environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and motion control programs.
• Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, networks, and safety systems.
• Create and maintain controls documentation, I/O lists, and software revision records.
• Support machine startup, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.

Controls Programmer

Scope: Provide controls programming and commissioning support for custom industrial machinery, including new machine development, customer orders, retrofits, and field service projects.

For Technical Lead PLC

We are looking for an experienced Lead PLC Programmer to lead the design, development, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PLC-based machine control systems. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, VFD/servo systems, industrial networks, machine safety, and onsite commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and motion control programs
• Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, industrial networks, and safety systems
• Create and maintain controls documentation, I/O lists, and software revision records
• Support machine startup, FAT, SAT, and commissioning
• Collaborate cross-functionally and troubleshoot controls issues
