Job summary

Vsan Group is seeking a PLC/DCS Programmer for its Chennai, Tamil Nadu location. The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and control system programming.

You will develop PLC/DCS logic, configure DCS/HMI/SCADA, and support commissioning on customer projects. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical/electronics/instrumentation or automation engineering and is willing to travel for project execution.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
• Experience in industrial automation and control system programming is preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in PLC/DCS programming and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PLC programs based on project requirements.
• Configure and troubleshoot DCS and industrial control systems.
• Develop and modify HMI/SCADA screens, alarms, interlocks, and control logic.
• Integrate field instruments, transmitters, flow meters, and control devices.
• Perform system testing, loop checking, and commissioning activities.
• Support Modbus, HART, and other industrial interfaces.
• Prepare technical documentation, I/O lists, and functional descriptions.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams.
• Provide technical support during site commissioning.

Educational Qualification
