Job summary

Vsan Group in Chennai seeks a PLC/DCS Programmer to design, configure, test and troubleshoot industrial automation and process control systems. You will support project execution, commissioning and customer requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLC programming, DCS/HMI/SCADA, and instrumentation, with travel for site work as needed. Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Automation.
• Experience in industrial automation and control system programming preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PLC programs based on project requirements.

Job Description

We are looking for a PLC / DCS Programmer to develop, configure, test, and troubleshoot industrial automation and process control systems. The candidate will support automation projects, system integration, commissioning, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PLC programs based on project requirements.
• Configure and troubleshoot DCS and industrial control systems.
• Develop HMI/SCADA screens, alarms, interlocks, and control logic.
• Integrate field instruments, transmitters, flow meters, and control devices.
• Perform system testing, loop checking, and commissioning activities.
• Support communication protocols such as Modbus, HART, and other applicable industrial interfaces.
• Prepare technical documentation, I/O lists, and functional descriptions.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams.
• Provide technical support during site commissioning.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation.
