Receive, transcode, and upload video content, advertisements, graphics, and promos into the central playout servers.
Verify file formats, frame rates, aspect ratios, and audio levels to ensure they align with broadcast standards (e.g., HD/SD specifications).
Quality Check (QC) all incoming media assets for technical glitches, black frames, or corrupted files before queuing them for broadcast.
Maintain organized metadata, file naming conventions, and archival storage workflows.
Real-time monitoring of live multi-channel playout systems, automation software, and uplink/downlink signal health.
Execute and verify daily broadcast playlists, commercial logs, and automated live-switch triggers.
Respond instantly to any on-air emergencies (e.g., signal drop, audio loss, freeze frame) by switching to backup servers or placeholder content to prevent dead-air.
Handle live feed configurations for breaking news, external outdoor broadcasts (OB), or remote streaming links.
Generate detailed daily transmission logs (As-Run logs) and incident reports for any discrepancies.
Coordinate closely with content schedulers, IT networks, video editors, and master control room operators.
