Job summary

Fores Elastomech in India seeks a qualified candidate for ZnNi plating operations in Maharashtra. You will lead and monitor automated plating lines, interpret production data, and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.

Role involves shifting schedules (Day/Evening/Night) and coordinating shift manpower. Strong experience with SCADA/HMI and rectifiers is preferred; join a team delivering best-in-industry plating solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, BSc Chemistry, or related field.
• 3–5 years of ZnNi or electroplating experience.
• Experience with automated plating lines and SCADA-based process monitoring preferred.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of ZnNi electroplating processes and chemistry.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI systems.
• Understanding of rectifiers, PLC-controlled plating lines, and process automation.
• Interpret process trends and production data.
• Troubleshoot plating problems and support leadership and communication.
• Maintain knowledge of quality standards, plating chemicals, 5S and safety.
• Record shift production data, SCADA logs, downtime and maintenance needs.
• Ensure proper operation of rectifiers, filtration, chemical dosing, pH and conductivity meters.
• Monitor plating line parameters via SCADA: temperature, current density, voltage, dosing, pump status and alarms.

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge of ZnNi electroplating processes and chemistry.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI systems.
• Understanding of rectifiers, PLC-controlled plating lines, and process automation.
• Ability to interpret process trends and production data.
• Strong troubleshooting plating problems, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of quality standards, plating chemicals, 5S, and safety practices.
• Record shift production data, SCADA logs, downtime, and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure proper operation of rectifiers, filtration systems, chemical addition, pH meter and conductivity meter.
• Monitor plating line parameters using the SCADA system, including temperature, current density, voltage, chemical dosing, pump status, and alarms.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Bsc Chemistry, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in ZnNi or electroplating operations.
• Experience in automated plating lines and SCADA-based process monitoring preferred.

Shift Working

• Willing to work rotating shifts (Day, Evening, Night).
• Manage shift manpower, production planning, and shift reports.
• Support emergency breakdowns and production requirements when necessary.
