Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-based integrations using Microsoft Azure. Located in Pune or Mumbai, India, the role operates under a mandatory hybrid work model with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

You will build API-driven integrations, ensure security and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for ERP and partner systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise integration or middleware engineering.

Are you passionate about building modern integration solutions and connecting enterprise platforms at scale? We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join our technology team and play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based integrations using Microsoft Azure.

Location: Pune or Mumbai, India

Workplace Policy - This position follows a mandatory hybrid work model:

• 4 days per week in the office + 1 day per week remote

Compensation Gross Salary: INR 3,500,000 per month

About the Role

As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for building and enhancing enterprise integration capabilities that enable seamless communication between business applications, external partners, ERP platforms, and digital services. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions that support critical business processes.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Create reliable frameworks and reusable components that simplify integration across multiple enterprise systems.
• Develop and support integrations between business applications, ERP platforms, and third‑party solutions.
• Build, publish, and manage APIs to enable secure and efficient data exchange.
• Implement real‑time, event‑driven, and batch‑based integration processes according to business needs.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, availability, and compliance requirements.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to improve operational visibility and issue resolution.
• Apply industry‑standard authentication and authorization methods to protect data and services.
• Automate deployment and release activities through CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.
• Participate in testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Review technical solutions and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
• Produce and maintain high‑quality technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, infrastructure, and support teams to deliver robust integration services.
• Share technical expertise and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience working in enterprise integration, application integration, or middleware engineering roles.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure integration technologies, including:
• Experience integrating ERP platforms such as SAP and Oracle environments.
• Knowledge of B2B integration standards and electronic data exchange processes.
• Understanding of integration architecture principles, including transformation, orchestration, routing, and error handling.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of API security, OAuth2, token‑based authentication, and secure integration practices.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with messaging and event‑driven technologies such as Azure Service Bus and Event Grid.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Microsoft Azure certifications are advantageous.
