Job summary

LPL Financial LLC’s Global Capability Center in Hyderabad seeks a Platform Engineer I to provide Tier 2 support for enterprise Windows infrastructure. You will manage Windows Server, AD, DNS, and Group Policy, perform patching, incident response, and changes with ITIL-aligned processes.

Work with global teams, document procedures, and contribute to automation using PowerShell to improve operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure.
• Hands-on Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and identity-related infrastructure.
• Familiar with patching, incident response, and service request fulfillment.
• Proficiency with PowerShell or automation for admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for Microsoft Windows Server environments, including troubleshooting, administration, patching, and operational maintenance.
• Support Active Directory services including authentication, organizational units, groups, DNS, Group Policy, domain controller health, and directory-related troubleshooting.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests through ITSM processes.
• Execute approved changes in accordance with change management procedures, including validation and post-change checks.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for Microsoft, identity, monitoring, security, and platform-related escalations.
