Job summary

LPL Financial LLC in Hyderabad seeks an AVP, Infrastructure Engineer – AWS Cloud to design and build scalable AWS environments for large-scale migrations from on-premises to cloud. This hands-on role has no direct reports and partners with Architecture, Security, Networking and Application teams.

You will implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), optimize costs using FinOps, enforce security best practices, and support hybrid connectivity to ensure a resilient, compliant cloud

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with 5+ years in AWS.
• Deep knowledge of AWS networking, compute, storage, identity, and security.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud migrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Build AWS services including VPC, EC2, EKS/ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, Route 53, ALB/NLB, and CloudWatch
• Execute infrastructure builds supporting data center exit and cloud migration initiatives
• Implement AWS security best practices including least-privilege IAM, encryption, logging, and monitoring
• Support hybrid connectivity patterns including VPN and Direct Connect
• Apply FinOps principles to optimize AWS cost and resource utilization
• Collaborate with Architecture and Security teams to ensure compliance and standards alignment
