Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a senior cloud infrastructure professional to own a production platform and drive robust distributed systems, scalable APIs, and secure networking in production.

You will build reproducible, containerized environments, define measurable infrastructure requirements, and develop deterministic tests for integration, load, security, and disaster recovery, while documenting decisions and reviewing peers’ work.

Qualifications

• Senior-level cloud infrastructure or SRE experience with ownership of a production platform.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, scalable APIs, queues, autoscaling, durable storage, and partial-failure handling.
• Experience with IAM, private networking, least-privilege access, service-to-service security.
• Experience with observability, measurable SLOs, rolling deployments, rollback strategies, and disaster recovery.
• Ability to write infrastructure automation or testing tools and debug containerized environments using a relevant programming language.
