This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based at Swaraj Hospital & Research Institute in Bhubaneswar. The surgeon will perform a range of plastic and reconstructive procedures, including trauma reconstruction, burn management, post-oncologic reconstruction, congenital anomaly correction, and aesthetic surgery as appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patients, developing treatment plans, performing surgeries, managing pre- and post-operative care, and coordinating with anesthesiology, nursing, and other specialties to ensure safe and effective clinical outcomes. The role involves participating in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, multidisciplinary meetings, and emergency consultations, while maintaining thorough documentation and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The surgeon may also contribute to resident or staff training, quality improvement initiatives, and research or case presentations in line with the hospital’s academic and clinical objectives.
