Role Description

The Plant Operator role at Snowman Logistics Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Plant Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring plant equipment and machinery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations. Key tasks include performing routine checks, adjusting controls, and coordinating with the maintenance team to address equipment issues and minimize downtime. The role involves following quality and safety procedures and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in refrigeration systems, Forklift troubleshooting to manage, monitor, and optimize daily plant activities.
• Hands-on Maintenance capabilities to perform basic troubleshooting in freon refrigeration system, MHE's, doors, docks and fire safety systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, PPE usage, and standard operating procedures in industrial or logistics environments.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, logs, and basic operational documentation.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in plant operations, logistics, cold chain, or warehouse facilities is an advantage.
• Relevant technical or vocational qualification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial operations is preferred.
