Job summary

DPR Steel Buildings Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead a greenfield PEB manufacturing facility in Telangana. You will oversee plant setup, commissioning and full production operations, driving safety, quality and cost effectiveness.

Ideal candidate brings 10–15 years in PEB/structural steel fabrication, with a track record of establishing and scaling manufacturing sites and leading cross-functional teams to meet delivery targets.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering required.
• 10–15 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong experience in PEB / structural steel fabrication manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield plant setup, machinery installation and commissioning.
• Manage end-to-end PEB manufacturing operations including primary structures, secondary members, sheeting and accessories.
• Drive production planning, productivity, quality, maintenance, safety and cost control.
• Optimize manpower, machinery utilization, material yield and manufacturing cost/MT.
• Build and lead production, maintenance, quality and shop-floor teams.
• Implement SOPs, 5S, Lean/Kaizen and continuous improvement systems.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Projects and Dispatch teams to achieve delivery schedules.
• Monitor KPIs including production, MT/man-day, downtime, wastage, rejection/rework and on-time dispatch.

DPR Steel Buildings Pvt. Ltd. is setting up a greenfield Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) manufacturing facility in Telangana and is looking for an experienced Plant Head / Manufacturing Head to lead plant setup, commissioning and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield plant setup, machinery installation and commissioning.
• Manage end-to-end PEB manufacturing operations including primary structures, secondary members, sheeting and accessories.
• Drive production planning, productivity, quality, maintenance, safety and cost control.

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in PEB / structural steel fabrication manufacturing is essential.
• Experience in greenfield plant setup and commissioning is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CNC cutting, built‑up sections, welding/SAW, drilling, blasting, painting, purlins and sheeting operations.
• Proven experience in plant leadership, productivity improvement, cost control and team management.

Candidates currently working as Plant Head / Manufacturing Head / Production Head in the PEB or structural steel industry are preferred.
