About this Position
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager tolead our manufacturing operations at our Kurkumbh plant. This role isresponsible for managing end-to-end plant operations, driving operationalexcellence, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatoryrequirements, and delivering business performance objectives.
The incumbent will play a critical leadership role indeveloping manufacturing capabilities, fostering a high-performance culture,and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to achieve world-classoperational standards.
What you´ll do
- Leadall plant operations, including, production, maintenance, engineering, quality
- Developand execute long-term manufacturing strategies aligned with businessgrowth objectives.
- Deliverplant performance KPIs related to safety, quality, cost, delivery andproductivity.
- Driveoperational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma andcontinuous improvement methodologies.
Ensurecompliance with all legal, regulatory and Henkel corporate standardsrelated to Safety, Health, Environment. - Leadworkforce planning, capability development and succession planning forplant employees.
- Serveas the primary company representative for local authorities, statutorybodies and employee unions/councils.
- Manageplant budgets, investment planning, CAPEX projects and fixed assetmanagement.
- Driveimplementation of Henkel Production System (HPS) initiatives and improveOverall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Fostera culture of accountability, engagement, innovation and high performanceacross the plant.
What makes you a good fit
- B.Tech Chemical/Mechanical Engineering,preferably from a Tier 1 and Tier 2 college.MBA will be an added advantage
- Minimum 10years of industry experience
- Experience of leading production in a large site (1000+ manpower) or leading production in a small/mid size plant (30-60 employees) in Batch process manufacturing
- Certification of Lean Six Sigma (Greenbelt) is expected.
- Industry experience in Pharma (API), Specialty Chemicals is highly preferred. FMCG can also be considered from industry where hygiene is important.
- Strong communication and presentation skills along with ability to engage the shop floor.
- High energy, pro-active individual with strong stakeholder management abilities.
