Job summary

Jkartindia is seeking a Plant/Factory Head to lead our manufacturing facility, drive end-to-end operations, and ensure production targets, quality, and safety are consistently met.

You will oversee production planning, process improvements, maintenance, EHS, cost management, and stakeholder coordination in a plastics-focused, export-oriented operation.

The role requires 10–15 years in manufacturing, at least 5 years in a Plant/Operations Head position, and a BE/BTech (MBA a plus).

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of manufacturing operations experience
• Minimum 5 years in Plant Head/Factory Head/Operations Head roles
• Experience in flexible packaging, plastic processing, injection moulding, blow molding, PU insulation and export-oriented manufacturing preferred

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The Plant Head will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the manufacturing facility. The role involves leading end-to-end plant operations, ensuring achievement of production targets, maintaining quality standards, optimizing costs, ensuring statutory compliance, and driving operational excellence while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Preferred candidate profile:

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Polymer, Plastics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA/PGDM in Operations Management will be an added advantage.

Experience (Essential)

10-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including a minimum of 5 years in a Plant Head, Factory Head, or Operations Head role. Mandatory experience in flexible packaging, plastic processing, plastic injection moulding, blow pet moulding, pu insulation. Experience in export-oriented manufacturing operations will be preferred.
