Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically OSD formulations.
• Proven leadership experience as Unit Head, Plant Head, or Cluster Head – Operations.
• Strong hands-on exposure to EU-GMP-regulated manufacturing environments and global regulatory audits.
• Ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operations of the OSD formulation manufacturing plant and drive overall business performance.
• Oversee and align Production, QA, QC, Engineering & Maintenance, and Business Development.
• Ensure compliance with EU-GMP and international regulatory standards, including readiness for inspections.
• Drive production planning, capacity utilization, productivity, quality, and cost optimization.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve objectives, delivery commitments and quality targets.
• Develop and execute strategies for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and growth.
• Build a leadership culture focused on quality, compliance, accountability, and people development.

Role Overview

A leading pharmaceutical group is seeking an accomplished AVP – Operations to lead its OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) Formulations business. The incumbent will provide strategic and operational leadership for the entire formulation plant, ensuring manufacturing excellence, regulatory compliance, business growth, and cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operations of the OSD formulation manufacturing plant and drive overall business performance.
• Oversee and align all key functions, including Production, QA, QC, Engineering & Maintenance, and Business Development.
• Ensure compliance with EU-GMP and international pharmaceutical regulatory standards, including readiness for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Drive production planning, capacity utilization, productivity, quality, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to achieve business objectives, delivery commitments, and quality targets.
