Job summary

RK HR Management is seeking a Plant Head to lead the Ahmedabadsandwich-panel manufacturing plant from commissioning to full-scale production. You will own safety, output, quality, cost, people and continuous improvement, driving end-to-end operations across production, maintenance, quality and EHS.

You will develop production plans aligned with sales orders, optimize OEE and energy use, and lead the team through ramp-up and ongoing improvements while coordinating with finance and management.

Qualifications

• End-to-end plant operations oversight including production, maintenance, quality and EHS
• Lead commissioning, trial production, SOP finalization and ramp-up of the line
• Develop and manage production plans aligned to orders and material availability
• Drive productivity, yield, line speed, changeover control and energy efficiency

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of plant operations across production, PPC, maintenance, quality, stores, dispatch, utilities and EHS coordination.
• Lead commissioning, trial production and ramp-up of the sandwich-panel line.
• Establish daily/weekly/monthly production plans in line with orders and material availability.
• Drive OEE, productivity, yield and energy efficiency while optimizing manpower.
• Ensure secure handling of foaming, profiling, curing, cutting and finished panels.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions and shift structures with clear accountability.
• Coordinate with other departments on orders, costs, and capacity planning.
• Lead root-cause analysis, CAPA and 5S across the plant.

Job description

Lead the complete Ahmedabadsandwich-panel manufacturing plant from commissioning and stabilization throughfull-scale production, with ownership of safety, output, quality, cost, people and continuous improvement.

KeyResponsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for plantoperations, including production, PPC, maintenance, quality,stores, dispatch, utilities and EHS coordination.
• Lead commissioning, trial production, SOP finalization and production ramp-upof the continuous PUR/PIR sandwich-panel line.
• Establish daily/weekly/monthly production plans in line with sales orders, raw-material availability and deliverycommitments.
• Drive OEE, productivity, yield,line speed, changeover control, scrap reduction, energy efficiency and manpower optimization.
• Ensure stablecontrol of foaming,profiling/forming, curing, cutting,packing and finished-panel handling processes.
• Build preventive and predictive maintenance discipline to minimizebreakdowns and production loss.
• Ensure incoming, in-process and finalquality systems for steel facings,chemicals, adhesives, insulation core, panel dimensions and finished performance.
• Develop plant SOPs, work instructions, skillmatrices, shift structures, training systems and accountability mechanisms.
• Coordinate with sales, purchase,finance and management on order priorities, inventory, cost, customercomplaints and capacity planning.
• Lead root-cause analysis, CAPA, 5S, safety practicesand continuous improvement across the plant.
• Recruit, mentorand evaluate key production and technical team members during the start-up phase.
• Present plant MIS coveringproduction, rejection, downtime,consumption, manpower, dispatchand key risks to management.
