Job summary

GigaForge is seeking a hands-on Plant Finance Manager to independently run the complete finance and accounting function at the manufacturing plant in Pune. You will oversee plant-level accounting, costing, inventory control, working capital, statutory compliance, MIS, budgeting and internal controls while collaborating with Production, Purchase, Stores, PPC and Management.

You should have 5–8 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing or automotive components, with CA/CMA qualifications

Qualifications

• CA/CMA preferred with relevant professional qualification.
• 5–8 years of manufacturing or automotive components experience.
• Strong costing, inventory accounting, GST and working capital knowledge.
• Hands-on ERP/accounting systems experience and financial reporting.
• Independent management of plant finance operations with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant accounting, book closure, vendor payments and receivables.
• Track product/process costs, material, labour, overhead and variances.
• Control raw material, WIP, finished goods; monitor stock and working capital.
• Prepare monthly P&L, plant reports, cash flow, budgets and forecasts.
• Manage payables/receivables, vendor reconciliations and collections.
• Ensure GST, TDS, e-invoicing and audits in coordination with central team.
• Establish robust financial controls and audit readiness at the plant.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, PPC and HR on cost control.
• Maintain ERP transactions and strengthen inventory/purchasing controls.

We are looking for a hands‑on Plant Finance Manager to independently manage the complete finance and accounting function at our manufacturing plant. The role will cover plant‑level accounting, costing, inventory control, working capital, statutory compliance, MIS, budgeting, and financial controls, working closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, PPC, and Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Accounting & Finance: Manage day-to-day accounting, book closure, vendor payments, customer receivables, and plant‑level financial transactions.
• Manufacturing Costing: Track product and process costs, material consumption, labour, overheads, scrap, and cost variances.
• Inventory & Working Capital: Control raw material, WIP, finished goods, and scrap valuation; monitor stock accuracy, ageing, and working capital.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L, plant performance reports, cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Payables & Receivables: Manage vendor reconciliations, payment planning, customer outstanding, collections, and credit control.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely GST, TDS, e‑invoicing/e‑way bill, audit, and other applicable compliance in coordination with the central team or consultants.
• Internal Controls & Audit: Establish robust financial controls, documentation, approval processes, and audit readiness at the plant.
• Cross‑functional Coordination: Work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, PPC, and HR to improve cost control, operational efficiency, and financial discipline.
• ERP & Process Improvement: Maintain accurate transactions in the ERP/accounting system and strengthen controls over inventory, purchasing, production, and invoicing.

Candidate Profile

• CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com / MBA Finance; CA/CMA preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive components company.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory accounting, GST, working capital, and plant MIS.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/accounting systems, advanced Excel, and financial reporting.
• Ability to independently manage plant finance operations with strong ownership and attention to detail.

What We Are Looking For

Someone who can own the complete plant‑level finance function end‑to‑end, rather than only handling accounting entries or reporting. The candidate should be comfortable working directly from the factory, understanding shop‑floor operations, identifying financial leakages, and ensuring accurate, timely financial information for management.
