Job summary

Adani Group's Salai Banwa plant seeks a Plant Finance Controller to lead the plant finance function, oversee cost optimization and capitalization of projects, and coordinate with operations for financial insights.

You will ensure timely closing of books, build stakeholder relationships, drive monthly dashboards and internal controls, and develop finance teams with strong leadership and business sense.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate closure of books of accounts at Plant level
• Build relationships with stakeholders (Site operation team / Auditors / Tax consultants etc.)
• People development including succession planning
• Drive monthly hygiene review with BU / GCC team members
• Planning Month / Quarter / Year end closures
• Adherence to SLAs / KPIs etc. and risk mitigation
• Ensure periodic reviews with FCs / CFOs
• Monthly dashboards for focusing on overall book hygiene
• Ensuring Review of Financial Statements
• Site co-ordinations and Process alignment
• Ensure adherence to Internal Controls processes alignment
• Ensure CAPEX monitoring and capitalisations review on timely basis

Job description

Plant Finance Controller will play a critical role in leading plant finance function Monitoring plant cost, coordination with plant operation team for cost optimization, Support unit head in navigating plant financial number during review meeting, Capitalization of various projects, review of trial balance, month end provision and closing activities and reporting of plant cost on monthly basis. Coordination with statutory auditors & Cost Auditors as well as internal auditors. Coordination with operation team for documentation of internal control. Participating in physical verification of bulk material & fixed assets

Additionally, this role will involve coordinating, understand business issues and promoting the company's financial well-being. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and possess a deep understanding of Business & finance operations.
