Job summary

Based in Aurangabad, the position requires strong communication and leadership abilities, with a drive to optimize inventory and production targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a team of 5-6 members and coordinate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MIS for higher management.
• Develop Yearly/Monthly/Weekly/Daily production plans considering capacity and materials.
• Manage materials between procurement and factory.
• Coordinate stores and warehouse operations.
• Lead shop floor control for assembly line scheduling and WIP monitoring.
• Monitor SAP PP transactions and perform project cost analysis.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, R&D, QA, Stores, Dispatch, Projects for smooth execution.
• Handle SAP Production Planning & Master Data like BOM, Routings, MRP.

This is your role. What part will you play?

• You’ll be responsible for preparing MIS for higher management.
• You’ll be responsible for preparing Yearly/Monthly/Weekly/Daily Production plan by taking consideration of Production capacity and Material availability which fulfill sales/market demand.
• You’ll be responsible for complete material management between procurement and factory.
• You’ll be responsible for stores and warehouse operations coordination.
• You’ll be leading as a shop floor controller for assembly line scheduling and WIP monitoring.
• You’ll be responsible for monitoring SAP PP transactions and for project cost analysis.
• You’ll be responsible for Coordinating production & industrial engineering department to know the production capacities, Line Capacities for planning purpose.
• You’ll be responsible for Physical Inventory and its control.
• You’ll be responsible for Streamlining the system and procedures for effective inventory control, for ensuring availability of materials to meet the production targets.
• You’ll be responsible for coordinating with various departments like Production, Operational Procurement, R&D, QA, Stores, Dispatch, Commercial, Installation & Project management for smooth execution of Projects.
• You’ll be responsible for SAP Production Planning & Master Data handling like BOM, Routings, Material code creations , MRP etc.

• You are a Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineer (B.E. / B. Tech)
• You’ve 10-12 years’ experience in PPC and shop floor operations
• You have basic knowledge of commercial concepts of business and good working knowledge of MS Office.
• You’ve strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You should be able to handle team of 5-6 members.
