Job summary

Blue Star in Coimbatore is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to organize dealer training on planning and installation, and to manage major projects from initiation to completion.

You will train dealer teams on new products, maintain profitability per sales costing, visit dealer sites for quality control, and provide timely reports and documentation to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in training and installation.
• Experience handling dealer networks and project execution.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize training programs on Planning & Installation for all new dealers.
• Maintain profitability as per costing furnished by sales team.
• Handle major projects and ensure completion within timelines.
• Visit dealer sites to monitor installation quality against standards.
• Train dealer teams on new products introduced.
• Maintain good relationships with key customers during installation and collect feedback.
• Provide cost variance reports for major jobs and release work orders to dealers.
• Submit invoices and documentation to customers to facilitate timely payment.
• Feedback product quality to Managers and contribute to improvements.
• Support channel partners with spares during pre‑commissioning failures.
• Prepare pre‑commissioning failure reports and obtain credits from factory.
• Claim insurance on damaged machines and follow up for settlements.
• Ensure credits for spares issues during pre‑commissioning failures; resolve escalations promptly.

• Maintain the profitability as per the costing furnished by sales team.
• Handle all major projects and complete within the agreed timelines.
• Visit all dealer jobs periodically and maintain the quality of Installation as per the standards.
• Train and develop the dealer team on all new products introduced.
• Maintain good PR with all key customers during the installation stage and collect satisfaction letters.
• Provide the necessary cost variance reports for all major jobs executed.
• Release timely work orders to dealers on NAD / Key customer jobs.
• Submit necessary documentations and bills to customers and facilitate timely collection.
• Furnish continuous feedback on the product quality to the Product Managers and contribute for improvement.
• Support Channel Partners with necessary spares during the pre‑commissioning failures.
• Prepare pre‑commissioning failure reports to Quality / Factory and get necessary credit to branch.
• Claim timely insurance on damaged machines delivered at warehouse/sites and follow up for necessary settlement.
• Ensure to get credits for spares issues during pre‑commissioning failure from factory.
• Ensure there are no escalations; in case of any escalations resolve the same at earliest.
