Job summary

Colliers in India seeks experienced Planning Engineers for PMC projects across hotel and residential developments. You will develop and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MSP, monitor progress and identify delays.

The role requires strong coordination with site teams, contractors and stakeholders, plus expertise in baseline scheduling, progress reporting and delay analysis to ensure on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in project planning for hotel, hospitality, high-rise residential or large building construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and MSP.
• Strong coordination, analytical and reporting skills.
• Exposure to PMC environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MSP.

• Prepare project progress reports, weekly reports, monthly progress reports (MPRs) and daily/weekly updates as required.
• Track planned versus actual progress and coordinate with site teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Conduct schedule reviews, delay analysis and critical path analysis.
• Monitor construction milestones, resource deployment and activity-wise progress.
• Assist in developing recovery plans and mitigation strategies for schedule slippages.
• Maintain planning documentation and support project review meetings.
• Coordinate with Civil, MEP, finishing and other project teams to ensure timely completion of activities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Relevant experience in project planning for hotel, hospitality, high-rise residential or large building construction projects.
• Hands‑on experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project (MSP).
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, baseline scheduling, progress monitoring, critical path and delay analysis.
• Experience in preparing DPR/WPR/MPR and project progress dashboards.
• Exposure to PMC/Project Management Consultancy environments will be preferred.
• Strong coordination, analytical and reporting skills.
