Job summary

EMRIOM SOLUTIONS is seeking a Planning Engineer to manage Level 3/4 schedules for Oil & Gas and Energy EPC projects. You will develop schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, coordinate control procedures with project teams, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.

You will also track budgets, prepare weekly/monthly reports, identify risks, and contribute to planning for new proposals. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of planning experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, or Energy EPC projects.
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience in EPC project planning and progress measurement.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3/Level 4 project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Coordinate with project teams to establish project control procedures.
• Prepare and maintain DCI, MCI, and CCI documents.
• Monitor project progress and implement recovery plans for delays.
• Track project budgets and perform variance analysis.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for stakeholders.
• Verify project data and reporting accuracy.
• Prepare planning schedules for new project proposals.

Role Overview

The Planning Engineer will manage project planning and controls for Oil & Gas and Energy EPC projects. The role focuses on:

• Monitoring project progress
• Cost and budget control
• Reporting
• Proposal planning

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3/Level 4 (L3/L4) project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Coordinate with project teams to establish project control procedures.
• Prepare and maintain:
• DCI (Document Control Index)
• MCI (Material Control Index)
• CCI (Construction Control Index)
• Monitor project progress and implement recovery plans for schedule delays.
• Track project budgets and perform variance analysis.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for stakeholders.
• Verify project data and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare planning schedules for new project proposals.
