Job summary

Horizontal Talent in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Planisware Administrator to lead development, configuration, and deployment from a business perspective. You will coordinate across multiple units and manage Planisware modules for global users, ensuring robust integrations with Power BI and SQL Server.

The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, with 3–5 years of hands-on Planisware experience. Certification is preferred, and collaboration with remote teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience administering Planisware: administration, configuration, development and support.
• Planisware Certification (preferable).
• Knowledge in PL-SQL and writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions.
• Knowledge of Planisware integrations with Power BI and reporting (in Microsoft SQL Server).
• Demonstrated experience or training with Planisware.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to document complex issues and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team and build relationships, including with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Planisware development and administration.
• Develop enhancements and requirements from multiple stakeholders via templates and OBS.
• Analyze impact of enhancements for users and project managers globally.
• Monitor Planisware assignment group queue in Service Now; troubleshoot issues including SharePoint logs.
• Assist project managers with Planisware module issues and questions.
• Work with IT Shared Services to follow Change, Release, and SDLC processes.
• Utilize Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies to monitor project governance.
• Perform data analysis; write SQL queries and stored procedures for on-demand analytics.

Job description

This position requires in-depth experience and a strong knowledge of Planisware applications from an administration, configuration, development, customization, deployment, and business perspective.

This position also requires experience and knowledge of Planisware, Integrations configuration to other applications (already configured).

This position will be responsible for the overall development and configuration of Enterprise Portfolio Management application Planisware, covering several diverse businesses.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Planisware Development and Administration
• Work on developing enhancements and requirements from multiple OU/Business/Function stakeholders within Planisware via project templates, Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) etc., including IT, CVG Operations PMOs, and Business Services
• Be part of the analysis of impact for the enhancements and new requirements to the Planisware application for users and project managers around the globe.
• Monitor Planisware Assignment group queue in Service Now and troubleshoot any issues, including through investigation of SharePoint log files.
• Assist project managers with all and any issues and questions regarding Planisware modules.
• Work with IT Shared Services teams to follow Change Management, Release Management, and Systems Development Lifecycle
• Utilize Waterfall and/or Agile Methodologies to monitor adherence to program management guidance and directives issued on projects.
• Perform data analysis, write SQL queries including stored procedures and functions for on-demand analytics, and derive insights from the analysis.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS REQUIRED

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience administering Planisware Application administration, configuration, development and support.
• Planisware Certification (preferable)
• Knowledge in PL-SQL and experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Knowledge of the Planisware Integrations with Power BI and reporting (in Microsoft SQL Server)
• Demonstrated experience or training with Planisware.
