Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, human resources, or a related field

• Familiarity with job search techniques and employment trends
• Proficiency in database management and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with employers to identify job opportunities for students and graduates
• Assist students and graduates in securing internships, co-op placements, and full-time employment
• Provide career counseling and guidance to students regarding job search strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation
• Collect and analyze data on student outcomes and employment placement rates
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote career development resources and programming
• Stay current on industry trends and job market demands to effectively match students with appropriate opportunities
• Manage and maintain a database of employer contacts and job postings
• Conduct outreach efforts to recruit new employers and expand partnerships with existing companies
• Organize and facilitate career fairs, networking events, and employer information sessions
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of placement services and make recommendations for improvement
