Job summary

Worley is seeking a Piping Stress Engineer to join our team in Kolkata. You will work closely with our existing engineers to deliver on projects while enhancing your CAESAR II expertise and piping discipline knowledge across static and dynamic analyses.

You will design and assess piping supports, evaluate nozzle loads, and transfer structural data to support robust piping solutions. A strong grasp of materials specifications and thickness calculations is essential for safe, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in mechanical/chemical/power engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of piping stress engineering experience, preferably in consultancy/EPC.
• Proficiency in CAESAR II for pipe stress analysis.
• Strong understanding of piping supports and load transfer.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II in compliance with standards.
• Conduct static and dynamic analysis of piping systems under operating conditions.
• Design and analyze piping support systems for stability and integrity.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Graduate degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Power, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in piping stress engineering, preferably within a consultancy or EPC environment.
• Proficiency in CAESAR II software for pipe stress analysis.
• Strong understanding of piping support systems and load transfer principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
