LTPO-L&T Energy-CarbonLite Solutions in Faridabad is seeking a Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer with 5-12 years of experience to lead critical piping stress analyses for power plant systems.

You will finalize design criteria, perform CAESAR II based analyses, and develop pipe support data sheets, coordinating with vendors and customers to secure approvals. The role requires hands-on 3D platform work and deep knowledge of codes and standards.

Qualifikationen

• Stress analysis of critical piping systems for power plant projects.
• Experience with static and dynamic analysis including modal, seismic, wind and steam hammer analyses.
• Hands-on experience with CAESAR II, ROHR 2 or AutoPipe.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3, ASTM, ASME BPVC, IS and IBR codes.
• Understanding pipe support engineering (spring hangers, struts, snubbers).
• Expansion loop sizing for high-temperature piping on racks.
• Trunnion and lug attachment calculations.
• Experience working in 3D platforms.

Job Description

Responsible For:

• Finalization of stress analysis design criteria documents.
• Stress Analysis of critical piping (Main Steam, CRH, HRH, HP Bypass & LP Bypass system) and boiler auxiliary piping.
• Piping Support and hanger engineering of critical piping (Main Steam, CRH, HRH, HP Bypass & LP Bypass system) and boiler auxiliary piping.
• Pipe support load data for foundation and structure design.
• Preparation of pipe support/hanger data sheet for vendor bought out.
• Customer coordination for document/drawing approval.

Required Skills:

• Stress Analysis of critical piping systems like Main Steam, HRH, CRH, HP Bypass, LP Bypass, Feed Water and Boiler auxiliary piping for supercritical power plant.
• Stress Analysis (Static & Dynamic Analysis) comprises of weight & flexibility analysis, modal analysis, seismic & wind analysis, steam hammer analysis, PSV analysis etc.
• Hands on experience in working CAESAR II, ROHR 2 or Auto pipe.
• Good understanding of codes and standards e.g. ASME B31.1/ASME B31.3 code ASTM, ASME BPVC, IS code and IBR code.
• Knowledge of pipe support/hanger engineering (e.g. spring hanger, struts & snubbers selection).
• Expansion Loop sizing for high temp. piping on pipe rack.
