Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions is seeking a Piping Lead to develop and maintain detailed production schedules for piping, structural, and module manufacturing projects in Pune. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to finalize schedules, account for resource availability, and manage risks to on-time delivery.

This role requires strong knowledge of piping design codes (ASME/ANSI/API), modular design, and hands-on 3D modeling experience with tools like AutoPlant, Plant

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of piping design codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
• Experience with modular design and 3D modeling tools.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for piping, structural, and module manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to gather inputs and finalize schedules that account for resource availability, material lead times, and technical requirements.
• Monitor production progress and track KPIs to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and completed assemblies.
• Identify and resolve delays, bottlenecks, or resource shortages that could affect production timelines, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure materials are available as required and handle supply chain issues that might affect schedules.
• Provide regular progress reports and updates on production status to project managers and senior management, highlighting risks to delivery.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to address potential schedule disruptions and ensure continuity in production.
• Optimize the use of resources to maximize efficiency and minimize costs while ensuring quality standards.
• Work closely with project managers to align schedules with overall project timelines and ensure timely completion of all phases.
• Participate in project meetings to review progress, identify risks, and ensure corrective measures are taken when required.
• Conduct regular reviews of production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Assist in preparing detailed production plans for future projects based on past performance and benchmarks.
• Analyze and report on production delays, downtime, and inefficiencies, with recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Reportees (If any): Engineering, or a related field. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field About Industries
• Technical knowledge in the field of Piping Engineering applicable to sector & industries
• Knowledge of modular design.
• Knowledge of Design Codes (ASME, DIN, EN), Standards & Regulations
• Conversant with piping components & dimensions / material standards

• Understanding of other engineering disciplines (civil, structure, instrumentation, static / rotary equipment

• This engineer plans and tracks the schedule for making and installing all the pipes and related structures for a project, making sure everything is ready on time and any problems are fixed quickly
