Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute piping jobs for repairs and conversions.
• Ensure timely completion per scope of work.
• Coordinate with inter-departments and manage subcontractor manpower.
• Prepare drawings and BOM.
• Raise PRs for materials and services.
• Ensure EHS and quality norms.
• Inspect work and perform HATs/SATs as required.

• Planning and execution of piping jobs of repair/refit/conversion of ships.
• Timely completion of piping jobs as per scope of work.
• Compliance of safety and quality norms of Ship yard.
• Managing subcontractor’s manpower and adherence of job schedule.
• Ensuring the smooth work flow, coordinating with inter-departments.
• Identification of SOW.
• Microplanning and scheduling.
• Preparation of Drawing & BOM.
• Raising of various material and service PRs.
• Execution of SOW as per DLs.
• Ensuring EHS and Quality norms.
• Undertaking various inspection, HATs and SATs
• Sound knowledge on ship’s system and equipment.
• Competency in pipe fabrication, erection and commissioning.
• Reading and preparation of drawings and BOM.
• Sound domain knowledge on Piping & Marine related systems.
• Working experience on Refit ships on Piping/Engineering systems.
• Working knowledge on MS office and ERP
• Exposure on shipyard safety and quality norms.
