Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Piping Engineer – Plant 3D role based in the Pune Division. The Piping Engineer will develop and refine piping layouts and 3D models in Plant 3D, ensuring alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, preparing detailed piping drawings and documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting design reviews. The role involves conducting stress analysis for critical piping systems, identifying potential issues, and proposing design improvements. The engineer will also support project execution by resolving technical queries, assisting in material take-offs, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of piping engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Piping Design and Plant 3D modeling for industrial projects.
• Hands‑on experience with Piping, Pipe routing, and layout optimization in 3D environments.
• Proficiency in engineering Calculations related to piping systems and equipment interfaces.
• Ability to perform Stress Analysis for piping systems and interpret results for design decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ISO) for piping design.
• Experience in sectors such as oil and gas, process, energy, or related industries is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on‑site.
• Familiarity with other design and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CAESAR II, FEA/CFD software) is beneficial.
