Job summary

Ballestra Engineering And Projects seeks an experienced Plant Engineer to work on 3D modeling and piping layout for our Bangalore project site. The role requires expertise in Cadworx and AutoCAD 2D, with 5+ years of plant engineering experience.

You will create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and MTOs, under the supervision of senior staff. Responsibilities include managing the Cadworx database, producing nozzle orientation drawings, and developing support designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level/engineering degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in plant engineering.
• Experience with Cadworx and AutoCAD 2D required.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D plant models and pipe routing following standards.
• Produce 3D structural models and 2D steel/ piping drawings.
• Manage Cadworx database and maintain data accuracy.
• Develop detailed engineering deliverables under senior guidance.
• Produce attachment drawings such as nozzle orientation, MTO, and supports.

Job description

Must-requirement: Minimum 4, up to 9 years of experience in plant engineering and expertise with Cadworx and AutoCAD 2D.

Job Location: Bangalore

A mandatory tool test(Cadworx/AutoCAD 2D) will be conducted after the profile gets shortlisted.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Essential to be fully aware of plant engineering principles for 3D modeling and pipe routing following industry standards.

Expected to work on detailed engineering deliverables under the guidance of senior professionals and capable of producing any of the below documentation:

• 3D model
• 3D structural modelling
• 2D steel structural drawings
• Above-ground foundation drawings
• Underground routing drawing
• Nozzle orientation drawing
• Special pieces, drawings, and documents
• Piping arrangement drawings
• Piping sketches
• Material take-off
• Supports drawings and MTO (material take-off)

Experience

The candidate shall have:

• 5+ years of experience in plant engineering
• Expert in 3D modelling using Cadwordx, 2D drafting using AutoCAD 2D
• Capable of managing the Cadworx database
• Expert in 3D modeling/finalizing of logical and physical supports in the piping model.
• Good to have a background in chemical plant engineering

Education:

Engineering in Mechanical/Chemical.

A PG Diploma in Piping is preferable but not mandatory.
