Job summary

Quest Global is looking for a Piping Design Engineer based in Bengaluru, India. Candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering and a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in oil and gas projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Plant 3D is mandatory, while knowledge of CAESAR for stress analysis is an added advantage.

The role involves monitoring changes in work scope and following piping specifications to prepare final engineering deliverables. Excellent communication skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Diploma in engineering is required.
• Minimum experience of 4-6 years in oil & gas projects as Piping Design Engineer.
• Knowledge on Stress analysis using CAESAR is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with AutoCAD 2D & AutoCAD Plant 3D are mandatory
• Exposure to CAESAR is added advantage
• Monitor changes in scope of work
• Follow all applicable procedures and work instructions.
• Keep continual improvement as a goal and apply Lessons Learnt on the past projects for better performance.
• Follow the allotted of man hour for the given task
• Follow the Piping design basis
• Follow the piping specifications and data sheets.
• Follow the vendor drawings and prepare the final engineering deliverables.

Work Experience

• Minimum of Diploma in engineering is required
• Minimum experience of 4-6 years in oil & gas projects as Piping Design Engineer
• Knowledge of line class specification
• Knowledge on AutoCAD & Autodesk Plant 3D software
• Exposure to Navisworks and AutoCAD plant 3D review software
• Knowledge on international codes and standards
• Knowledge on Stress analysis using CAESAR is an added advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
