Job summary

Aakash Healthcare is seeking a creative photographer/videographer to document doctors, patients, and hospital activities. You will shoot photos and videos for digital channels and events, ensuring brand-aligned visuals and consent where needed.

You will edit content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects, deliver short-form reels as well as long-form videos, and maintain an organized media library with attention to deadlines and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Photography, Videography, Mass Communication, Film, Multimedia, Visual Communication or related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in healthcare, hospital, pharmaceutical, media, advertising or corporate environments preferred.
• Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating work.

Photography

• Photograph doctors, patients, hospital facilities, departments and medical procedures where permitted.
• Conduct professional photoshoots for doctors, management and healthcare professionals.
• Cover hospital events, conferences, workshops, awareness campaigns and celebrations.
• Capture high-quality images for the website, social media, brochures, advertisements and PR.
• Manage lighting, composition, camera settings and professional equipment.
• Maintain and organize the hospital's photo/video archive.

Videography

• Shoot professional videos for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and other digital platforms.
• Record Doctor Speak, health-awareness videos, interviews and educational content.
• Shoot patient testimonials and success stories with appropriate consent.
• Cover hospital events, launches, campaigns and special occasions.
• Handle camera, lighting, microphones and other production equipment.
• Plan shots, framing, B-roll and basic storytelling before production.

Aakash Healthcare already publishes healthcare information and doctor-led content, making this role particularly relevant to its digital communication efforts.

Video Editing

• Edit short-form content such as Reels, Shorts and social-media videos.
• Edit long-form interviews, doctor videos and corporate videos.
• Add subtitles, captions, transitions, graphics, music and sound effects.
• Perform colour correction, colour grading and audio enhancement.
• Create engaging thumbnails and basic motion graphics.
• Adapt videos into different formats such as 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9.
• Deliver videos according to brand guidelines and deadlines.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Photography and Videography.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
• Good understanding of lighting, framing, composition and audio recording.
• Ability to operate DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, gimbals, tripods and professional microphones.
• Good storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Knowledge of Instagram, YouTube and other social-media content formats.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
