Job summary

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and OTC medicines accurately.
• Review prescriptions for drug, dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and storage.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled medicines.
• Monitor and manage pharmacy stock, including ordering and expiry-date checks.
• Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals when clarification is required.
• Follow all applicable pharmacy, health, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
• Handle customer/patient queries and provide appropriate healthcare information.
• Report medication errors, adverse drug reactions, and other safety concerns as required.
